Vlad Tepes, also known as Vlad the Impaler or Vlad Dracula.
Born 1428–1431 - was born in Sighișoara, a Transylvanian Saxon town in present-day Romania
Died 1476–1477 - murdered in 1477. Despite the fact that many considered him a serial killer, according to the Romanian historians, he was one of the greatest Romanian rulers.
